About

Nepathya's exclusive concert in Seoul. Formed in 1991 and celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, the band consists of vocalist and leader Amrit Gurung and six session musicians, performing folk rock and world music. Nepathya combines indigenous folk songs and dialects collected across Nepal with modern rock and pop sounds. During Nepal's civil conflict, its music carried anti-war messages and calls for peace and unity, resonating across generations. Nepathya was the first Nepali artist to perform successfully at both Wembley Arena and O2 Academy Brixton in the United Kingdom. Its best-known songs include 'Resham' (2001), 'Taal Ko Pani' (2003), and 'Yo Jindagani' (2001). The poster identifies this concert as part of the KOREA-NEPAL CULTURAL EXCHANGE FESTIVAL.
