Meet TixPass — the Integrated Ticketing Platform Built in the Field
👋
Hi, I’m Myungjin Baek, founder of TixPass. I’ve spent the last stretch heads-down building, so I never really introduced what we’ve made. Today — for everyone who’s cheered us on — I want to share what TixPass has actually become.

The problem we set out to solve

Concert halls, exhibitions and trade fairs, museums — venues where people gather still run, surprisingly often, on paper, spreadsheets, and gut feel. Who showed up, where the line backed up, who’s likely to come again — most of the time, no one knows for sure.

TixPass is an integrated platform for those venues: ticketing, unmanned entry management, and audience data analytics. We ran live events (PCO) ourselves for ten years, felt every one of these pains firsthand, and tied them together into a single flow.

What we built

Each module follows a real headache from the field.

  • Dynamic QR mobile tickets — the QR refreshes every 30 seconds, shutting down screenshots and scalping at the source. Entry works on mobile data alone, even with no Wi-Fi.
  • Unmanned ticketing & check-in kiosks — turn the queued-up registration desk into self-service. Staff are freed from rote ticket-checking to focus on the work that matters.
  • Multichannel sales — register once and open your own web and app plus major external sales channels at the same time. Inventory and settlement stay in one place.
  • Audience data & CRM — contacts accumulate with the organizer, not on an outside platform. One KakaoTalk alert reaches every past guest for your next event.
  • AI smart docent — delivers artwork and exhibition commentary straight to visitors’ phones (pilot at the Lee Ungno Museum, June).
  • Ichnos audience-flow analytics — captures visitor paths and dwell time as data, so you can plan your next event by measurement, not gut feel.
  • Automated settlement & refunds — from card-payment collection to next-month settlement and refund tracking, all handled automatically.

Proven in the field

Since adopting TixPass on April 7, 2026, the Lee Ungno Museum (a public museum) in Daejeon has handled 20,000+ visitors in total, all unmanned. About 82% of paid tickets are issued by self-service kiosk, and front-desk staff have moved off rote ticket-checking back to curatorial and program work. (As of June 2026, customer estimate.)

And beyond that —

  • SETEC (Seoul Trade Exhibition & Convention center) — 1-year exclusive testbed partner for smart-exhibition solutions
  • Grand Prize, Goyang MICE Startup Competition (2025)
  • BILIE 2026 — official online ticketing for the Busan International Liquor Industry Expo (Aug 2026, BEXCO)
  • Three Daejeon-area festivals run as POCs — about 6,000 attendees, 4.7/5.0 satisfaction

Pricing, kept deliberately simple

💡
The software costs ₩0 — and that includes the live dashboard and entry reports. Your only cost is a 5% ticket sales fee (PG fees included), and free-admission events carry no fee at all.

Start with no upfront cost; you only pay when a sale actually happens. We wanted to remove as much adoption friction as possible.

Where we’re headed

We’re maturing the AI docent into a full service and broadening case studies across four verticals — performances, exhibitions/expos, sports, and museums. The goal is a virtuous loop where data from the field shapes the next product.

If a place comes to mind

🤝
If you know anywhere that sells tickets, manages entry, or wants to build an audience database, a quick intro would mean a lot. I’d also love for you to take a look and share feedback — and collaboration ideas are always welcome. Even just forwarding this to someone who might need it is a real help.

Always happy to talk. 📧 sales@tixpass.co.kr · 📱 +82 10-9724-0008 · 🔗 www.tixpass.co.kr
